The need for Revival!

Posted by admin in Untagged

Revival is necessary! The lukewarm will say, “Revival is relative”; but those who hunger after God will say “Lord Revive us Again!” Revival, regardless how it comes: through prayer meeting; through witnessing to people; through Church services, or any other way, is necessary. A hunger, a thirst, and an expectation, birthed through prayer, fasting, and seeking God in His Word, is still “relative” today.

What plans have you made for revival to come? Has it been on your mind, in your hearts, and carried to God in prayer? Once again, “You reap what you sow” is a true statement even concerning revival. Come and be with us in revival this week. You'll be glad you did!

The Road to Success

Posted by admin in Untagged

There are many ways to look at success. The worldly view is based on your bank account or your status in life.
Many people feel the road to success is through the halls of higher learning, Hollywood, or fame.
I don't know who the author is, but I thought the following gives a very realistic picture on what true success really is:

 THE ROAD TO SUCCESS
The Road to Success is not straight. There is a curve called failure, a loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, red lights called enemies, caution lights called family; you will have flats called jobs, but if you have a spare called determination, an engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, & a driver called Jesus --- You will make it to a place called success!

Endurance

Posted by admin in Untagged

Do you still have the same determination to read the Bible this year as you did the 1st day of this year? How about your prayer life? How about in the way of inviting people to Sunday School? How about in attending the Lord's House to worship God?Remember: the way you start out this year and continue in that way, may be the exact way you end it.

Let there be no regrets at the end of this year beginning with the words "I wish I would have...."
Keep in mind the words of Jesus in Matthew 24:13: "But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved."

Facing Your Burning Bush

What a contrast between Moses' life as an Egyptian Prince and his life as a Midianite shepherd!   As a prince he had everything done for him; as a shepherd he had to do everything himself.   As a prince he was the famous son of an Egyptian princess, known and honored throughout the land of Egypt; as a shepherd, he was an unknown stranger in a foreign land where had never been.    As a prince, according to Acts 7:22: "...Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in speech and deeds;" as a shepherd he told God in Exodus 4:10: "...I am not eloquent....but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue."  As a prince he was gorgeously appareled in soft raiment living delicately in Pharaoh's courts; as a shepherd he was clothed with sheepskin living in the rugged wilderness of Midian, and many times had to sleep under the stars in the wilderness or in a small tent.    As a prince he ate some of the finest Egyptian cuisine from Pharaoh's table, but as a shepherd he ate food that was far less desirable off a table of rock in the wilderness.    As a shepherd he was holding the very job he had been taught to despise and was wearing the skins of an animal he had been taught to detest, for Genesis 46:34 said that "...every shepherd was an abomination unto the Egyptians."
